French Christmas at the Strait, and a Voyageur Heritage announcement

Dear readers and followers, after a break of some time I am organizing to reenergize this website. This will include new writing and a thorough overall editing to fix broken links and remove outdated material.

And what better way to commence this new effort than to post this announcement of an upcoming event at Ste Anne de Detroit: “French Christmas at the Strait — Noël Français au Détroit”. See the RENDEZVOUS DETROIT website for more information and to buy tickets for this December 2nd event! Thank you to John Cooper for this information.

Thank you to all who have continued to read and watch this site in the many months that I have not been active with it. I hope the future contributions will be of interest to you. The first new piece will be a reflection on the life of Étienne Brûlé, the first non-Indigenous person to see Lake Superior and an adventurer in the service of France. Stay tuned!

  1. Tried to post my supportive comment. It turned into a complicated password and app journey. Not your problem.
Thanks for raising these issues! Keep on!
